Variety with small narrow leaves, very good scented, used as herb and decorative purposes .
Perennial plant very good for cultivation in field and in pot.
It is useful in the garden as groundcover, where it can be short-lived, but is easily propagated from seeds and cuttings. It is also the main source of thyme as an ingredient in cooking and as an herbal medicine. It is slightly spicier than oregano and sweeter than sage.
Sowing: all the year, mostly at the end of winter and at the end of summer.
Distances: About 30 x 50 cm between plants.
